Bloody hell Jesta, I thought I was being a little too keen getting on here and posting a similar message, but you beat me by 10 minutes.. I was hoping to say hi to you there but didn't get chance, too much going on and too many to chat with.

I have to agree anyway, bloody excellent day, very good fun, great bunch of guys (and scally of course).. All very helpful. I learnt quite abit today.. the only thing that let me down was my marker, brand new and it leaked!!! Thankfully Tim63 had a spare and came to my rescue.

Great to see so many new people for a walk-on, We had local ballers, people from Exeter and Clevedon but i think the biggest applause goes to Tom who drove from Guilford, and Alan who drove from Kent, for a walk-on!!

good to meet all the guys from here who turned up too, cheers guys it means a lot to us.

Thanks to my wife, Claire, for coming out and suffering 30 smelly dirty guys and girls to run the BBQ all day, a lastly thanks to the Marshals who have the thankless job of keeping us going when we all chatting like fat women in a cake house!! Cheers Guys.

Thanks to all who sorted themselves to get to site yesterday....respect to Tom and Allan for the long drive through the snow to come from the Eastside.From the amount of chin-wagging going on between games I'm sure new faces will soon become familiar faces.
Great job with the food again, Claire and a slap on the back for Ben and Scally for the marshalling.
Having a big review of the calendar for next year and at the mo' nothing is in tablets of stone BUT looking at another walk-on date in Feb by which time we should have the another part of the woods opened and ready to play.....and u thought that ws it!!
