Due to the success of the US Navy SEALs and Army Rangers in the suppression of the insurgent uprising, attacks on military and civilian targets have escalated to massive proportions.

The insurgents are now displaying more guerrilla style and highly planned attacks with more sophisticated weapons, are more organised and determined then ever before and have of late been recruiting from other dissident republics and global terrorist organisations.

Due to the unprecedented volume of violence the heads of coalition forces have ordered the formation of a new multi-national Special Forces Task Group Rapid Reaction Force to insert deep into insurgent territory and cripple the infrastructure

This new threat in the region will involve the Rapid Reaction Force who will be called upon at short notice to execute orders as they come in, to include gathering of intelligence, snatch / arrest, and hostage rescue.

Coalition forces will be providing Rapid Reaction Force members on a voluntary basis sourced primarily from their special forces such as British SAS & SBS, US Navy SEALs & Delta, German Grenzschutzgruppe 9, Australian SAS, New Zealand SAS, French Légion Etrangère &1er Régiment Parachutiste d'Infanterie de Marine, Canadian Special Operations Regiment & Joint Task Force 2, Spanish Mando de Operaciones Especiales, Italian 4° Reggimento Alpini and Swedish Livregementets Husarer (K3) & Lapplands Jägarregemente (I22). With the high proportion of existing PMC operators in the region and due to the nature of missions it is expected that there will be high levels of combined operations between the task group and PMCs.
Latest intelligence reports from the spooks on the ground show that extremists, mercenaries and general adventure seekers from throughout the world having been flocking to the region. The Kremlin deny that Spetsnaz who have knowledge of the region are instructing on guerrilla tactics. There are concerns regarding reports of Columbian drug lords financing operations in arms trading for support of their opium business contacts. The fight will be hard, resistance will be fierce, but who’s side will you be on and who will be left behind enemy lines?

I remember that incident too Dan, very funny, possibly not so funny for poor Tank though :-)
