What are the rules of this forum? What language is acceptable and what isn't? I recently had 3 posts deleted from this forum because they were deemed unsuitable. Who makes these decisions? Who has the power to act on them and who polices them? If I were to post something that was a little frivolous but on topic how do I know that my post will even be seen? Why should I take part in this forum if my thoughts and opinions are being censored?

This should have been the first thread that should have been posted in this forum but i guess too much excitement and not enough clear thinking was done so it got left by the wayside.

Since it was my thread and me who deleted your posts i'll answer.

A thread that is deemed serious, like my For Sale thread, Pascale's Ion thread and this one are what i would call serious threads and should stay serious and on topic.

Administrators and Moderators have the powers to delete threads and posts (Web Mistress and myself atm, with Nemesis the Warlock as soon as he has time) if they find they are unacceptable to the nature of the thread.

People do not want to trawl through pages of drivel on what are supposed to be "serious" threads just to find an answer.

If, as a poster, you discover someone has "Spammed" your thread ie gone of topic or turned what is a serious thread into a Joke (no matter if it was intended to be funny) you have the right to complain. generally that means a private message to either myself or the Web Mistress and the offending posts will be deleted, a waning sent to the forum on the whole or even locking of the topic so it cant be spammed anymore.

Spamming is also classified as several posts in a row by one person without giving others time to post in between though this has happened several times it hasn't become a serious problem.

I must add that once a thread has lost its importance, ie 24th February - Charity Game it is not so important to restrict the content (as in Nail's and P's challenge)

Subsequently swearing will not be tolerated nor threats to other members, discrimination of any kind will not be permitted to continue.

These boards are here to build a community of like minded individuals who enjoy paintball in and around the Nemesis Paintball Sites and as such we have to cater to all ages. children as young as 12 paintball today so the forum has to be "children friendly".
