Just cos theyre supporting/sponsoring someone doesnt mean theyre any good, if Sesame Street decided to pay me 40quid a day Id happily change my name to Mr Cookie Monster, but it dont mean I like the cookie monster or sesame street, its just theyre paying me to do it. When I was a kid the football team I used to play in was supported by a local garage, the other 12year olds in our team didnt have cars though. Its just a way of a team getting much needed support and a company getting advertising. The company I work for spent £10 MILLION on labeling trucks, promo stickers, leaflets and TV advertising in the first half of this year alone, why? Because we'll recieve that back in sales. Ive been working there for 7years and when I started the company profited 13million quid a year, the notice in our canteen stated 69million at the end of our business year (last february). They wont just be giving them the product, theyll be dishing out money for consumables like paintballs and what not, I doubt any of the UKScenario team will use them when theyre not being watched.

they gave me a headache after an hour of wearing them. so i swapped lens. its to do with having to continuosly focus and refocus my eyes and since i wear glasses...........

Yes Tarsia are supporting the UKST this year.

If you get shot in the lens yes its harder to clean than just wiping them with your sleeve but then headshots count as kills for a lot of scenario paintball so it matters not. and i'm aquiring a small water bottle for my lens when i go to oklahoma this year.

With Regards to the water bottle for your lens, you might wanna think about one of those make up/womeny things atomisers/spray pumps, theyre usually refillable, girlfriend has a couple of the things, theyre only dinky, about the size of a tube of pritt stick. Thats what Ive been thinking about doing for in the field but Ive been AWOL so havent needed to setup any gear. Whens the next walkon as I cant find nothing passed 18th April?

Lol, bargain! So its not really sponsorship, its more team identification tactics, hows that gonna help if youve taken yours off anyway? Not sure itll help identify people from behind, might wanna think about some coloured head straps for the masks?

I wouldn't say they're crap, more a bit of fun.. But I guess thats just a matter of personal opinion.

Here's an idea for you Titch if you find the full lens image too much..

We got ours printed up with the team name as a strip across the lens rather than over the whole of it and we all had them at N'v'S, and not one person had a problem with them.

We considered the full lens graphics at first but knowing that Garage couldn't do a full game in them we opted for the strips instead.. especially as we got them for use in an 8 hour game!! Would have hated to be having to swap lenses and wasting valuable gun time These were on for the entire game and not once did they cause a problem, in fact I didn't even notice I had mine on..
