Back to Basics Game

Postby Nails on Mon Aug 24, 2009 10:32 pm

I was just wondering how many regulars people would be interested in playing a game with just site markers as id think it would make for a fun day and it would be very intersting to see how much of a difference/change to everyones playing abilities. Especially how many people rely on the range or sheer firepower of the markers everyone owns.

let me know if your interested and i will be quite happy and have a go at organising such a game

+1

I find that playing with the 98s is almost better than your own markers in some sence. You have to get closer to players due to less accuracy and less power so you play better.
It could be quite fun!

This subject has been talked about before but the feeling was that since we all had spent so much money on kit that we would want to use it.

and while the site guns are not as good as some of the stuff we have, it could be worth a giggle but, unfortunately, for me at least, its going to be a no as i'm too booked up with games between now and christmas to even consider another one.

Yeah I'd be up for that sounds like an exciting/interesting idea.
There is always someone with a hotter marker.

They are a completely different ball game to normal as it's a lot harder to put fire down or to hit at range.

Generate enough support and Nails will sort it out.

As much as I would love to play its all about the money at the moment.. Got two birthdays (Dan's and Connors) in the next month plus endless bills.. I'm having a good month or two off to save some pennies I think..

Doh.. thats a very good point.. I have no idea why I was thinking it was soon.. too many games going on that I want to go to this side of Christmas.. One more I think and that's possibly it for me, and trying to keep local to avoid traveling costs too. Littleton walk-ons coming up soon too I guess :)
